Electric Bike Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Coverage This warranty policy applies to all electric bikes purchased from Eco Electric Bikes and covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. The warranty includes the following components and may be alter for different brands / bikes:
- Frame
- Battery
- Motor
- Electronic Components
- Other Components
2. Warranty Exclusions The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to tires, brake pads, chains, and grips.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorised modifications.
- Damage resulting from improper assembly or maintenance.
- Exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., water submersion, extreme temperatures).
- Bikes used for commercial purposes, racing, or stunt riding.
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, and paint chips.
- Batteries subjected to excessive water/moisture, improper charging practices or non-recommended chargers.
3. Warranty Claim Process To make a warranty claim:
- Contact Eco Electric Bikes with proof of purchase, including the receipt and bike serial number & frame number.
- Provide detailed information about the issue, including photographs & videos.
- Our team will evaluate the claim and may include the manufacturer in discussions to determine eligibility for warranty coverage.
- If approved, the defective part will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Our usual & quickest process is to send out the replacement part to the customer. Delivery costs may apply for parts and repairs, at our discretion.
4. Transferability This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
5. Limitation of Liability Eco Electric Bikes is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the electric bike. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as outlined above.
